Business Card Design Tips

Be sure that ALL your info is legible (even for those who may wear glasses).  Print an actual size version of your card.  If you’re listing services, keep them on one side and your contact info on the other. If you don’t have too much to say, either leave one side blank or very light in color so you can write on it.  Keep the front with logo only and the back with all the contact info. Most people don’t remember to look on both sides if the contact info is split up. Business cards can also be used as reduced admission cards, vip tickets, coupons etc.

Postcard Design Tips

Keep postcard designs simple.  Include 4 or 5 key benefits of your product or service. Put the biggest benefit on top and list off the rest in descending order of importance. Next thing to do is give a very brief explanation of how you can provide the benefits you named. Next, persuade them to act by giving them a good reason to contact you. You can offer a testimonial from a really happy customer or can give a guarantee. Guarantees take the risk away. Make them an offer that no reasonable person who had an interest in your product or service could easily refuse. Create the sense of urgency by saying something like this, “This offer is only good for the 1st 100 callers, Don’t miss out! Call NOW!”  Be sure to explain exactly how to order or contact you. When you follow this structure for creating your postcards you will get good response to your mailings.
